Can someone who has a factory pto unit on a 60series please send me a photo of the selecter position through the floor.

I am about to fit one to mine and want to get the hole in the floor right first time.

It is manual.

The thomas pto is engaged by lifting a knob which goes throught the floor, whereas the factory ones have another gearstick which is used to engage the pto in forward or reverse. This is what i need a photo of. but thanks for the offer.

your 60 should have the pto selector hole size on the floor mat .....
oval shaped pattern left of the gear stick moulded into the floor mat?????

maybe????? :?

I put selector in 'off' and position and eyeballed where the knob would go through the floor
made first incision so that i could put whole stick through floor
then took it real slow until i could guage full movement of the lever - mine engages towards the seat - if you have reverse selctor will need to ensure full forward and backwards...
then went nuts :D
this is on a 40...same same but different

NO FEAR ...... its only your floor

you'll notice from the red paint the hole is not the full size of the retaining plate....this means you have lots of room if you dont quite get it right.
my tip would be start small and jig your way up to where it needs to be....

cheers scotto

What is the little button on the stick that i have circled in the photo. Is the retaining plate a factory one. if so what model 40 is yours.

Not sure if the new picture will work. but i mean what looks like a button about half way up the front of the pto selector.

Pic didn't work...if you are talking about the PTO selector theres a button on the very top and one on the front of the know.
It's spring loaded like a handbrake lever...

Mine is a BJ42
