I had a quich search in the bible and through search but couldn't see anything relevant.....
Anyways, i just rust proofed my gq with lanotec and the bodymounts are all moving around..... just wondering whether retightening them will work and does anybody know how tight (ie. in nM). Lots of clunks and stuff from under car, as if it was wet but worse....

Nope, you should replace them, piss easy job...
If you are poor like most of us you can remove the mounts, trim about 5mm off the shaft that goes through the mount and re-fit.
This tightens up the mounts nicely and makes them heaps quieter
I did this to mine about 2 years ago, saved me about $600 worth of rubbers

Hijack warning: what do you mean by "as if it was wet"? Cause it is real wet here and I've had niggling issues with my body blocks (2"). Today in the rain it is clunks quite a bit over bumps. Normally not too bad, although passenger can sometimes feel it at their feet. And I never did my bolts up real tight at all - just enough to compress the rubber and hold it all snug.

I plan on fixing mine very soon. a friend of mine inserted rubber plates in between, and seemed to fix it - for the moment.

Earlier GQ's use a M10 body mounting bolt. Later, a M12 bolt was used. The M12 bolts fit the earlier mounts and provide a much tighter fit in the mounts and the body holes= much less movement. You will need bolts that dont have a shoulder above the thread, most HT bolt shop bolts have this shoulder. Best bet is go to a wrecker and look in the bolt bins........bellhousing bolts work well. Use a nylock nut. Dont use black HT bolts - they will rust quickly.
