IFS and fox airshocks

Is this a stupit idea or not :?:

Would it be possible 2 remove the torsion bars from my feroza and run some fox airshocks. Main reason I'm asking is that with winding torsion bars up you can't seem 2 get full uptravel and was thinking that if the torsion bars were removed and I just run the fox shocks I would then get full travel out of the IFS :?:

Thanx

yeah, it'd work, but you'd want to limit the travel so ya dont overextend your cv's

Nope not like that. coil over shock would cost heaps
Was just thinking of running only fox airshocks and nothing else.

Would probably have to upgrade the shock mount, as it is now also taking the full weight of the front end rather than the spring damping loads. Might need to beef up the front of the chassis to take the new torsion loads being placed on it.

As stated your main issue is with the CV angles, Fox shocks won't solve that, or make any significant contibution to extra flex above the limitations of the front driveline geometry.
