Utes have a brake portioning valve?

hey guys i know on the wagon and swb GQ's there is a brake portioning valve with a spring etc just wondering what the utes have if it is set on one setting etc

I see no reason to think that a ute would not also have this "load sensing valve" fitted.

Just checked the manual John and it does not mention "except utility" so it should have same setup. :?

i see thanks linc alot of the modified utes getting around i see have not got the spring connected do they have a set tension on it?

the spring has to be level when the vehical is at rest.

what ever spring lift you have , make a plate the same length and space up the bracket which holds the spring :armsup:

yeah i know about the spring and stuff really i want to get rid of the spring so that it is not load sensitive

i posted this else where. remove the bolt and replace it with all thread and 3 nyloc nuts. one tho hold the thread and one either side of the lever. put a temporary plate as high as your lift and see where the spring pulls to and adjust the nuts accordingly, then remove the spring and plate. use this as a starting point and adjust as you go
