Which will give me more wheel travel?
I spoke 2 a local suspension bloke and he said linier rate springs will give me more wheel travel than proggresive rate but some one else told me the opposite.
Also how heavy coils r some of u blokes using 2 get maximum down travel?
I've got 235 IB proggresive rate in the feroza and I might get a set of 185 IB linier rate.

There is no valid/correct answer to your question. You need to be more specific.

Absolutely, it depends how you set up the progressive spring and what you want it to do. Yes you can get more travel out of a progressive coil by having the last portion of its travel which is taken up by the weight of the vehicle being softer than the rest of the spring.

sorry i havent replied.
I've added 2 pics of my coil springs
one shows the spring at maximum stretch and the other at normal height.
those coils are king springs and r 235IB in weight.
I wanna get a set of 180IB and about 2-3 inches higher than it is now.
I'm not after load carrying ability I want maximum articulation
Do i need 2 be more specific then that?
