i have a gq lwb. it has 4" spring lift, 2" body lift and will be running 37" mtrs. do i have to extend the bumpstops to prevent major scrubbage in the guards or will it be alright. want to set it up properly before fitting them.

Are you trimming guards to fit 37`s
As I think you will need a lot of cutting on the rear qutars front and rear
to fit 37`s

I dont know about the front the back will need the bump stop to be lowered (or lifted I cant remember). Or the tyre will rub on the inside of the rear guard on compression. So you need to limit up travel a bit. As the only other way to fix this is tub the guards.
Some will say they dont want to limit up travel. But if they dont it is only stuffing the inside edge of a perfectly good tyre.

Also if fitting longer shocks bumpstops should be extended to prevent internal shock damage.
