Everyone at the garage has gone to the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab Utah so I can't work on me truck. I have been thinking again (dangerous) of doing some half doors. I had the time to edit some pictures. I liked these the best out of about twenty different ones that I did. I would probably use the glass and some of the outside shell. Just thought that I would get some opinions.

Edited by HeathGQ. Find a different pic of the door please.
Sorry, I didn't feel that the picture was offensive...an attractive young lady (Marlin's daughter) in a bikini top and jeans.
How come we have a moderator for the Daihatsu forum that doesn't even own a Daihatsu?
I've seen people just cut the top part of the hinge for quick removal. Or from a Toy site:
Grind the head off one of the stock pins and carefully hamemr it out with a drift. Try to keep the little bushings in tact and reuse them. I then went down to the local hardware store and bought a hitch pin that slides right in and has a retaining ring to hold it in place. I ground some material off of the heads so that they could fit past the bolts without any problems.
Tube doors are great till it pours down rain.

#10- Pictures that contain obscene or sexually oriented content are not allowed and may be removed. If a member continues to post this content their membership may be cancelled.
I didnt find it offensive either Kent, but i dont make the rules.
And I used to own a Daihatsu... and theres not much left of yours that Daihatsu is there??
Top work though... the tube doors look good... as do the cut down doors...

I wasn't serious Heath. You had a red Oz Rocky for years right? I am grateful to be able to post here, throw out some ideas and get some feedback. Good moderation man. You never know who is looking over your shoulder.
If it is true that Toyota owns 51% of Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. then all of our vehicles are mostly Toyota. You are right that I have swapped a lot of stuff out but it still looks like a slightly modified Feroza.

Oz Feroza...... loved it, and would love another, but not for the off-roading I do now. We love our Nissan for that!!!Toyhatsu wrote:I wasn't serious Heath. You had a red Oz Rocky for years right?
