anyone know if you convert a widetrack handbrake to a transfer handbrake will it add any length too the tcase ? becuase i think the crossmember might hit the hand brake drum if it is longer than a non handbrake setup? am i making sense?

THE DRUM BRAKE WILL BOLT ON BUT IT IS SHORTER THAN JUST A WT FLANGE...by itself..

so this will not be a problem then? see the black crossmember?

You will need half a NT flange or redrill, as hole pattern will be different

Jake i did it to mine it fits no worries just hae to redrill the drum to suit the wide track pattern and mine fits inside the crossmember.

ausome thanks guys cause otherwise with my rear diff being moved back a meare 17" the standard cable is way too short and it also will make it easyer to go too rear disks if need be

na mate its draging on contractions are still at 6mins apart been the same since 230 this mornig

looks like i'll have pull that handbrake off my old transfercase for ya then
