gday all
having a bit of probs with my brake lights staying on.
i changed over my booster and master cylinder to a newer model one, in doing this i had to remove the pedal
i havnt touched the brake pedal stopper/switch and when i put my pedal back in i adjusted it so it touched the pedal again. but now they stay on.
i took the wires off the back and changed the polarity around. no luck
im guessing it works when the earth coming from the pedal touches the thread on the switch and makes the lights go off. am i right in assuming this?

any ideas?

I think it should not touch the pedal, until you put foot on brake.
ie it earths out to complete the circuit and turn lights on.
If it touches, lights stay on. back it off till it just dont touch, till you use it.
just an educated guess, good luck, christover
