Hi I need some advice on the best head light relay.
76 rover was running the large box style duel relay which you can still get from all over the shop aftermarket. I think TRICO or similar do them. Prob goes is that Ive fryeddddddd two in fairly short time. The last one did both high and low coils or contact. At no time did the main feed fuse blow. I then dropped in a 60 Amp horn relayjust out on the market and seem to have done similar. Toooooo late to work out exactly.

Whats the best out there for extreme conditions. MUD MUD and more MUD and monsoons. Again main fuse feed fine and at the moment only a 10 Amp fuse. :bad-words:

Try measuring the coil resistance with a multimeter first to check if you're burning out the coil on them all.

If it's mud getting in and stuffing the contact mechanism then I'd suggest trying to mount them inside a waterproof box. Or another option would be trying a solidstate relay- they have no moving parts.
