i asked around for this a while ago and was told of a few people who have put a home made leaver to mechanically lock it. i suppose a solonoid is possible, but i just see it as somthing else to get wet and stop working when you need it most. (ive even got air switches to turn on my lockers to do away with solonoids)

also snake racing built a air activated one to replace the vacuume. dont know how much $. They are a friendly and helpful bunch give them an email if interested.

Andrew.
