Can somebody tell where to check for the cracks appearing so I can check mine? Inside on the bit that holds the tyre or on the bolt/dish part. Just bought some tyres with these rims (cheapish) and wanna check.

Damn, sorry I meant on the steel wheels that were on about series 1 & 2 GU's. I have already experienced the crap spring mount job.

There are two different sorts of Nissan rims with the cutouts being different. The problem with the cracks only happened with one type not the other.
...but I cant find the info on which was which...
Sorry.

I believe it was the series one GU steel rims, that came with the ST and they were replaced under warranty by Nissan. I have a set of 4 that they gave me as I was contemplating using them on a trailer. Couldn't see any cracks and they made have been changed as a precaution.
I have series 2 rims on my GQ and they appear OK.
