prolly stupid question but how hard is it to make up a body lift kit? wat is the best material to use? and how would i go about it? lol

50mm OD solid steel bar, lathe, cut into 50mm blocks, put on drill press and drill 11mm holes through the middle. done.
I did a 2"lift on a styleside lux (ie 14 blocks ) with grade 8.8 bolts for $87.50 all up. including the black kill rust to paint them with.

wen u say lathe, wat do u do to the block with the lathe? make them round or wat? and could u use alloy?

$30 for steel bar and $13 for high tensie bolts. Easy.
(although I did have access to a reciprocating hacksaw )
Easiest mod I have ever done.
Just loosen off steering, rad hoses, fuel hoses ect and keep an eye on stuff when you are lifting it SLOWLY!
