Bogged, do you travel down the Princes highway at around 7-7.30am regularly?

I've seen a GQ very similar to yours with an OL sticker in it around Dandenong area.

then 6.5 with 35s.........to give you a bit of a comparison......

the 4 your looking for is a very good height.... eventually ill bring mine back down to 4 and 33s for more touring work

sorry dont have any pics, but years ago when i had a 4" lift and 33's the it looked stupid at how high it was compared to the tyres filling the gap.

looked like i had 29's or 30's on instead of 33s

but now 4" suspension and 2" body and i have room from 39's, but looks good with my 37s

not the best pics but here is my mav on 4" springs and 33's. i think it might be a little less than 4" with the amount of weight in it. bogged do you know the measurements between your diff housing and bump stops? I would be interested to compare, i may need some heavier springs.

you have obviously cut a lot out of the guards or dont flex to much if your saying 39's could fit? :?:

I would say mass hacking...

20mm around all the gaurds

and get plenty of flex

my mate just put a 2" body and 2" spring lift and he fits 35's on with no guard chop.

make sure you're 4" lift is really 4", as i've seen some 4" lifts that sit as low as a 2"

I have some pics of my car with 6" coils and 2" body and 33s. Say what you want about looks, but it flexes hard and is cost effective when doing 40K + PA. I will be going 35s next time if the cost is comparable.

Andrew (flame away boys)

BTW re the 39s, some ppl don't want to HACK THEIR GUARDS - roots your resale IMHO.

if you're only going to run 33's why do a body lift?

33's will fit on with a 2" lift. So with a 6" you get good flex and more than enough room for tyres.

Body lifts dont do much besides give room for tyres

because it came with a body lift, that's why. It had a 2" coil and 2" body lift, but I wanted MORE.

Anyway, a body lift can be done so cheap these days, why not get all that gear a little higher?

Andrew

Great pic's guys..

I've found that 4" with 33's is good for everyday use and doesn't attract too much unwanted attention from mr plod. don't worry about a body lift with 33's.

4.5 inch coils are $170 a pair. Give me a pm when you want them. I can get you Procomp shocks for $120 each to suit.

No real hassles, apart from gettin it engineered with the 33's... brake and swerve tests... 4in is good, but again, depends what u intend to do with it
