Just bought a 75 series troopy and it wonders all over the road the steering is all over the place , would a return to centre steering stabilizer do much good on this truck?

also does anybody know if a 80 series boss kitt will fit a 75 series?

if it wonders all over the road it could mean a number of things:-
* your drunk
* You need a wheel allignment
* your steering components have some free play in them
* could be the nature of the tyres (34" JT's cause my troopy to wander a bit)
* you're to busy perving at the girls your driving past (or being a troopy they are probably passing you)

Long story short, go to a mechanic and get them to check over the steering and make sure everything is ok.

Does the troopy have a lift? Or tall and wide tyres?

A lift often makes a landcruiser wander as the factory caster setting is very low. A caster shim may be helpful in this regard.

Worn out bearings in the swivel housing can also add to the wandering tendency. How many kms since the diff rebuild?
