I know Diesels blow some smoke but mine is blowing more than it should..
Its just turned over 100,000km's - It doesnt use a drop of oil and I change it every 5000km..
I have tried all those oil and fuel additives but they dont seem to help (I didnt have high hopes but thought I might give em a go)
Any suggestions

Another thing you can try is too have a look at the air cleaner it could be blocked up with dust which is restricting air flow
Had the same problem in mine and chucked in a new air cleaner and it stopped blow smoke still blows a little but it does need a service
