Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I use these, youll need to get the module that plugs into the back of the panel meter for it to work as a volt meter. Comes to about $34 i think. I just run a switch to flick from main to aux, works wonderfully.

so drop bear all your doing is running a connection from each battery to your switch and this guage is picking up how many volts are coming to the switch?

I have a wire going to each battery to measure the voltage, the switch just toggles between the 2. From the switch i feed whatever wire is toggled into the voltmeter module and therfore is what it displays. A problem i encountered though was that the voltmeter needs to be powered via a 5volt regulator, originally i was powering off whatever battery i was measuring but the aux was always reading all over the place. Problem was solved by powering off the main battery all the time.

Give me some time and ill put up a wiring diagram so you can do it yourself its pretty easy to do you just need soldering skillz.
