help.more travel from my lux

i was told that if i cut my rear helper springs .just leaving a bit in the middle i will get a bit more travel is this true and can i do it in the car or do i have to remove them thanks .any other mods to get more travel will be helpfull as well cheers.

Don`t cut`em just open the rear ones with a shifter and do a search on flex

If so I cant see why you couldn't cut them on the car considering they hang lower and there isn't much chance of cutting the other leaves etc.

I wouldn't do it unless you had a wrap-bar, and even then you might as well just take the bastards right out.

I wouldn't do it unless you had a wrap-bar, and even then you might as well just take the bastards right out.
If flipping them isn't a problem then cutting them shorter surely isn't

Its a leverage thing. If its longer its stronger. (take that out of context
