Grand Vitara lifted and all terains

Hey guys just thought I would post some pics of my Grand Vitara now.
I had an OME suspenssion lift fitted to my Grand Vitara by the 4x4 Service Centre down at Taren Point (they quoted me the cheapest price in Sydney). Ride quality improved a great deal and I found the rear end didn't go float around (especially over speed bumps or dumpy tracks) like before. They also fitted two recovery points to the front at the same time.

I did a little bit of investigating about tyres and I was keen on getting some BF Goodrich all terains on my GV. I was going to put 235/70/r16 on it and cut some of the guard to fit it properly. However, no one at the time could get them (possibly due to the recall in USA). So 225/70/r16s where put on. They fit perfectly!! No cutting of the guards was required and I'm more than happy.

how high is the lift kit coz it doesnt look that high at all. I have a lil swb vitara with the same tyre on and they are awesome. I have don 60000km on them and still have 50% tread left. When they wear out im gonna fit the same tyre but in 235/70/R16

I used to have a 2001 SWB GV with 235/70/16 BFG muddies, I did 80,000k and they were only half worn. I had OME shocks all over plus ToughDog 2.5" taller springs, they only scrubbed slightly on the inner guard on one side. Greg at GRP sorted me out with the install and put the package together. I miss it, but am now playing with my new project a 1988 hightop Sierra.....

I have an XL-7 with 235/70R16 BF Goodrich MT tyes and it rubs on full lock to the left onthe drivers side, and when I go over bumps etc it hits the inside plastic of the guards. Tomorrow I am having custom springs fitted that were made by Aldo from All Springs at Moorebank and OME struts for the front and Toughdog shocks for the rear, supplied by Pagie from GRP. Just in time for Tough Truck. I will get some photos and post them up when I get a chance.
