ranchos wouldt buy them again too many bad experences  get procomps they will last alot longer.Dont waste money on crap like in cab kits spend it on lockers and gearing. :P
if you set you leaves up right you should have no need too use climax shackles.

I've had np probs with my ranchos but don't have in cab, I do believ there is probably better value around now (depending on your application)
For climax I recommend reading

check out superior engineering rather than climax, much better design, and dont listen to the people who tell ya drop shackles are crap, they do work well if set up right.

Have had bad experiences ourselves with Rancho's, went to Procomps and they last a full year of competition inc 3 x xwc. Obc, XI and RFC. Would recommend Procomps every time.
Just my veiw.

save your $$ on fancy shackle's spend it on better springs, even if they are custom made longer ones .. they will provide and all round better experiance IMHO smoother ride and better flex with the slightly odd things that multi part shackels can do..

As ofr shccks .. spend some $$ on good ones.. rancho, Koni, pro comp, bilstein etc.. you shold do fine.

Same here, original set still fitted and going strong. In cab is great too.

Its probably overkill.. but for a serious shock... i dont reckon you could go past the tough dog ralph... on a Zook it would be overkill, but would probably blow the rest away in terms of physical strength.

Depends really what you want your rig for? and what kind of conditions... long and fast bumpy runs... maybe something with a remote canister like an LTR, or Rancho... plenty of people get excellent results from Koni and abuse the life out of them...

The Ranchos are ace, I've had no problems at all with them and the in-cab's grouse too :D

ok i've worked it out then, rancho and in cab kit are good if u can be bothered spending that much on them. Climax are good also, now what are better climax drop shackles or superior engineering drop shackles?

set the leafs up properly and u dont need the drop shackles they are for ramp champs

there is a video some where of a woodpecker event with a zuk ute with i think revolvers on the front (TAZZ's brother off here it is a bright orange one)
i think it is on this site somewhere http://www.orp.com.au/

after watching that video u wont want them they are unloading and hopping quite bad

A pic of superiors on my old GQ. the reason i liked them cause i could get a fair bit of articulation with a fairly stiff leaf pack, so i could still load the ute up heaps during the week for work.
