Value for money?

Probably look at something like the Old Man Emu Dakha Springs and Nitrochargers...

Conversly.. a similar EFS Kit...

Basically shop around for your springs.. then measure up your shocks correctly and buy them afterwards...

on my old 40 we adapted 2inch over 80 series shocks on custom mounts, gave about 5 inchs more than stock 40 length, springs will limit downward travel anyway

I ordered OME Dakar for my 60 last week and I got the Aussie made stuff delivered instead :), very happy with that, it is nice gear you could be fooled you're in an 80.. for a short time anyway..

Procomp shockies are the goods... picked mine up from Lance at suzisport at Albion...

I've got Cross Country suspension on my 45, 2 inch lift and the cheapest of the lot, almost a grand cheaper than pAyRB, 2 grand cheaper than opposite lock. that was for everything, shocks, springs, bushes, greasable pins and shackles and a steering damper. They were only installed on Tuesday, so they've still gotta bed in and I've gotta put the PTO winch on, which will help settle it down. Heres a couple of pics.

Still gotta get 33 inch tyres, they cheese cutters are a little small.

Try to get dobinson's springs with 25mm-40mm longer top 2 leafs.
That will give you some lift and more down travel. The only down side is that the front spring are more likely to flick the shackle back and bending the spring. I use rear shockies on the front and move the bumpstop down.
Out the back you could a leaf out if you not carrying much weight.

These were the quotes I got for my suspension, all included fitting and welding up and redrilling the spring centre pin guide holes:

Cross Country/Bluemax suspension: $1770

Carrols springs: $1900

TJM: $1900

ARB: $2600

Opposite Lock: about $3500

All were 2" lift, hope it helps.

Oh yeah, where u at Skootin, I'm not far from Rocky. :)

In the capital dobinson's long leaf fronts were $350 cash no warranty that was a few years ago.Did have some pics of how they worked but they are on paper.

Yeah, Dobinsons springs aren't bad, although I didn't bother going with them when I had the suspension redone on my 45. The suspension that I had installed almost a week ago is starting to ride rather well, and I don't even have the winch on yet. Gotta rip it outta the spare vehicle, complete with gearbox.
