who to rebuild winch in melb

ok i've done a search and basically found heaps of good links for rebuilding it myself, but i'm pretty busy these days so i'll get someone else to do it.


So who in melb rebuilds winchs, new seals, bearings, clean up the motor etc. maybe add breathers etc.

btw it's a warn 8274 highmount, about 10-15 years old i think

There was a mob in Heidelberg who had an article in 4wd monthly a while back about rebuilding winches. Cant remember their name but if you go on 4wd monthly forum you'd probably find it. I think they do comp stuff and mods as well.

Not cheap but you know it is a good job.

all the comp guys are using him at the moment.

he also extends the drum as well so you can fit more cable/rope.

guys from QLD and WA are sending there winches to him
