A mate of mine has just bought a GXV 100 series..
Now he wants to lift it... (told him to buy SA!!)
How high can u go with the torsion bars on these things... I know 2" is about normal for most trucks..
Is there a kit made for them yet to git them up in the air a bit... ie: a Mega Lift kit???

crankycruiser, RV is right, 2" is probably the max u want to go with torsion barred 100 series, the design on the wishbones/torsion bars/shockies isnt the strongest ever made, and winding up the torsion bars puts added, read HEAPS, of extra stress on the whole setup. Car is just too heavy for IFS really.
check out one of the issues of 4wd monthly, mb 6months back, a 100 series was cruising the outback and the shockie mount on the bottom wishbone cracked off and the whole wheel, inclduing CV joint fell out and snapped, cost him 10 grand to get back to civilisation, and Toyota are still arguing it aint their fault. i believe that guy had wound up the torsion bars a bit .
Shouldve gone the SA!!
