Hi guys, Vic from Malaysia again.
Pardon our ignorance as i've a question regarding our vacuum advance.
As shown in the pics there are 2 pipes. Which is constant vacuum and which is vacuum advance? I know one goes to the intake plenum, but where does the other goes to?
Another question, where may i download wiring diagrams for a Disco95 V8?
Thanks Mate.

Thanks for the info.
So the constant advance at the top of the pic. So i should I ask my mechcanic to blank that off?
And my other question, how do u tell if the vacuum advance is faulty?
Some times i've doubts why i bother being a Rangie enthusiast.....

Blank it off, it is not used - the ones on a rangie come with a little rubber end over it.
To check the operation, attach a vacuum hose over the other port, suck on it with and see if it holds vacuum, when it begins to work it should withdraw the leg back into the unit. Hence advancing the timing.
If you can't get it to move or it doesn't hold vacuum then it is stuffed.
They are $67 exchange last time I checked.

This sounded familiar.
A quick search showed the same question was asked by the same person, and also answered by the same person on Mar 2.
