Would it be worth fixing the Aircon that is already installed in my car minus the compressor or ould I be better off installing one of those units that mount under the dash or on the roof. I have heard that the standard County air is pretty crappy so if I go with an under dash or roof mounted blower will I be able to use the air con components that are already on the car.
Any info would be appreciated.

Hi
I live in Brisbane and find the factory aircon in my county adequate for passengers in the front seat. The previous owner did modify the vents to improve airflow.

Mine doesn't work (low priority on the list of things to fix), but other club members with county's have said it works very well when in good condition (at least for the people in the front).

mine was good when it worked and it didnt even go full blast. it stopped working for about a year but was just a loose relay (i found this when i pulled it out to fit the vents). see me if you need any parts apart from the compressor.

Andrew do you have the Vents that go in the front of the AC Ducting? And maybe a Compressor bracket?
