4.2d snorkel on 2.8td?

Can it be done and if so are there any major mods to do with pre cleaner box?

I'm sure you could modify it, just make sure the intake will come in on the same size.
It's a pretty straight forward concept - all snorkels are generally the same.
I have noticed that diesel snorkel on my sisters 4runner has another filter at the top of the snorkel, where as mine is open.
