I run a detroit ez-locker in my zook rear. Got it from the states, cant remember the exact price, STUMPED might as we both got them together. But i know that it was less than $400 from order to installed ( did install myself). That includes customs, frieght and what not. As for performance, its tops. Bit different to drive on the road, but you get used to it. Off road it works great. Havent had much trouble breaking stuff, and had the axles out a few weeks ago, and there was no spline rotation or other damage to axle. This is on 32 Swampers and 31 MTR's. We got ours from roadlessgear.com and would recommend them again. Got good service and the guy was very helpful with sorting out freight and stuff between USA and Aust.
Good luck
Layto....

yeah... is fairly cheap, but we got stung by import duty or something like that, still ended up being hell cheaper than buying local

either seems alright, i asked the dude that works at roadless and he hasn't heard failure stories from any of his gear. we went detroit...
