what air lockers fit 60s

just wanting too know what air lockers too look out for when buying one second hand ?

S'funny cos I could have sworn the ARB catalogue said RD33 for a 60 series.

just to confirm
theres an rd02 in mine
and ive had 60 diffs in and out
you just have to change the flange somtimes
all depends if your buying the locker by itself or in a centre
some older centres have different splined shafts

actually and further to that dont just go with what someone in an arb store says
they tried to tell me my swb 70 was a cut down troopie and then a bundy
i wont go into what locker they said i had to get for the front... it wasn't an rd02 they suggested

Checked the catalogue also cos I was getting confused
I was going off the PDF file on their website. However you're right catalogue says RD02's which coincidentally aren't listed in the PDF.

Id say as listed above but to run the 1990 and on 75 and 80 series you need to run the carrier bearings from that model as the bearing had a bigger ID. From memory the early are ~43mm and the later are 50mm but they do fit as i always use the later as the o-rings sit in the carrier and wear the seal ring as the earlier are the other way round and wear the carrier end cap.

so does an rd02 with different bearings fit a later model 75 or 80 that uses the rd33 ?

I just was in the same situation trying to figure out what ones were in my 60 as I needed an O-Ring, but I couldnt work out if I had the new ones or the old ones because I not long bought it off a car yard and didnt know how long they had been in the 4wd for, in the end I took it to arb.
Anyway the arb service & parts catalouge it says this. It may help if you are looking at second hand ones.
RD01 Toyota 8", 45mm BRNG (replaced by RD23) 30 Spline, All Ratios
RD02 Toyota 8.9", 45mm BRNG (replaced by RD33) 30 Spline, All Ratios
RD08 Toyota 8.9", C-Clip, 45mm, BRNG (replaced by RD124) 30 Spline, All ratios
And the catalouge says this.
LandCruiser 40, 55, 60, 62, 75, & 80 Series, Lexus LX450
Front
To 1989 12 bolt, full floating 33 (1.31") 30 All RD33*
1990-97 10 bolt, full floating 33 (1.31") 30 All RD23
Rear
1969-76 12 bolt, semi floating 33 (1.31") 30 All RD124*
1977-89 12 bolt, full floating, 45mm bearing ID 33 (1.31") 30 All RD33*
1990-97 12 bolt, full floating, 50mm bearing ID 33 (1.31") 30 All RD33
1977-92 12 bolt, semi floating 33 (1.31") 30 All RD124
*Late model 50.00mm [1.969"] ID carrier bearings (e.g., from FJ/HJ80 model) must be used. This will also improve bearing life.
