glow plug hassles

hi all, i need help.......95 rx 2.8 turbo diesel,keeps burning out glow plugs.its been to diesel mech,auto sparkys,and still does it. ive replaced 3 sets plugs and the silver box right hand side kick panel.all this in 3.5 mths they even bypassed the control unit and put in a push button warmer still no good.any advice please.

mate sounds like you need to check your voltages on the rail,, make sure you are getting the right glowplugs to suit the patrol. you mostly burn them out when you get the wrong votage.. i would go genuine...
make sure you clean the rail so there is a good contact... let me know if there is anymore trouble and will look up secifications 4 you.. email me for anymore questions

One of the first things to check on any patrol with an electrical problem is the EARTHS. As the main earth runs from the battery to the body just below the battery

There are 2 diffrent types of plugs, one type for the first 3 cylinders, and another type for the last 3 ...
The glow plug system on the 2.8 is a real pain in the a..
