I am thinking of fitting a 3L diesel hilux turbo to a 3.4L 3b engine. I was wondering if this turbo is going to smother the exhaust, being a smaller litre turbo or is it going to work fine. I got this turbo for a good price and I was also thinking that being smaller it will spool up earlier giving more low down torque.

it will go ok, the 3B and 3L have similar performance and pump similar volumes of air. you'll need to build or buy a manifold though, and custom exhaust etc.

Thanks for the info Dumbdunce. Do you think it will perform ok up to around 120km per hour on highway? I will be happy if I can sit comfy on 110 km per hour.
Sorry sparehead, not for sale unless it definately wont work.
