:?: Can anyone help me? :?
I have 86 T/Diesel 61 series
12HT motor all in bits in a box and I am rebuilding it,
I have 5 banjo fittings in total that are the same thread size /dia / lenght
4 of them have the same middle orfice
1 has a small orfice.

1 go's onto the oil pump
1 go's onto the injection pump
1 go's onto the timing gear cover
2 go's onto the alterator / vacuum pump to block

My question is which one has the small orfice :?:

There is a union bolt (banjo bolt) where the small oil supply line to the turbo connects to the engine block. This oil line comes out the underside of the turbo and runs right along side a larger oil supply line that has a goose neck in it.

There is also a very large union bolt on the oil pump pick-up lines in the sump.

Hope this helps....

I'd say the one with the orifice goes on the alt/vacume pump as it would be the one that needs the least oil of all the items you stated. Turbo's need a good oil supply and so would the injection pump.
