how far out does an exhaust have to be?

i need to go over the pits, and i have cut my exhaust off just behind the bumper. will i need to put a tip on it to make it longer? it is past the last opening window (i have a hard top) but what are the rules? any info would be good thanks.

Should be ok. The stock one is under the bumper.

You have the SPOA right? Let us know how ya go with the pits.
