interested in changing to radial claws (33x12.5) from BFG muds same size - keen to hear about experiences between the 2 tyres.
I am a little concerned about the lateral traction of the claws - as the tyres are being mounted to a jeep wrangler; short wheel base problems.
thanks

I have Had 3 Sets of BFG MTs in 33 & 35s and now have 35 radial claws on my GU Wagon.
I have found the Claw to be a much better tyre.
Quieter on the road above 5 kph.
Balance better the the new BFG.
And Kick arse in the bush( For a radial tyre ).
I belive the life of the Claw wont be as good as the BFG but i am prepaird for the ks sacrafice to have a much better preforming offroad tyre.
Will not look past Radial claws for my future tyre choice!
Cheers Grant.

If you get radial claws avoid any sharp stuff. I saw two claws on two different rigs get punctured with in 24 hours. One was on a rounded off stump and the other was a stick no bigger than a nikko pen.

What air pressure, what speed/wheel spin? I'd be interested to know a bit more background info on this one. There isn't a tyre that is indestructable. If they have managed to kill a claw... it wouldn't matter what Radial tyre they are running, it would be dead too.
Cheers,

what price you got the claws for?
I was quoted $270 for MTR and BFG MT's the other day in 33x12.5x15s
