Basically a Hilux with coil sprung front end.

Not sure where the thought of them being bigger comes from considering the front guards etc will bolt onto a Hilux and a quick scan of the internet for their dimensions shows to be near identical to Hilux.

The Toyota Pick Up was the original name for their first models, but when they changed to the shape that we got around 98, the name was changed to Tacoma. Pretty much same as the first shape Navara in the U.S. was known as a Hardbody, but when switched to it's current shape was then named a Frontier.

This is in reference to models through the 90's, current model may be bigger, but the 90's models certainly weren't

The much bigger one is a Tundra, originally a T100. it is a V8 about the same size as an F150.
