Seems like a what of work to end up with a car that will get outclimbed by stocker.

So what if it fits between trees better - don't spend all that time working on it and live with the body damage.

Hey, I have 112" of wheelbase and it's not always enough - see my photo. As for fitting between trees, lets say may car looks pretty good....from 100 ft ;)

That wouldn't have anything to do with the rear suspension geometry?? not the WB

Probably right DAS, the G-Wagens (like the SII Discos) have radius arms in the rear as well as the front, which gives too much anti-squat when climbing.

True enough, but there's always somehting you could climb with a little bit more wheelbase. hence the reason that the Oklahoma based Jeep builders in the States build stuff @ 120-130" - they have very tall ledges to climb.

I am learning to drive through the antisquat problem.... I just have to have more nerve and push the the point where it gets all light. :roll:

Me and a mate own kevin tapps old rangie... orange one bobtailed ran in the outback challenge and the Xtreme winch challenges they look great and dont have much rear overhang. its just the body that has been cut not the chassis. Cheers :D

so your one is 91" too?
i don't know you but i probably would if it had a longer wb cos i would see your name winning everything! :finger: :armsup:
