Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I was out driving today and I was going over some rocks and I heard a loud snap at first I thaugt it was the front axel but then I figered out If I put my hand on the 4x4drive stick and put it in to first gear and pushed the exelerator in and out really quickley I could feel the snap coming from the transfere case.
any one here had that happen or know how to fix it?

If in doubt rip it out

have you done the obvious and checked if your mounts are still intact?
