Buying a Disco II TD5

Hi guys, need your help. The wife has said yes to buying an auto TD5 Disco. She did mention something about liking a bit more oomph so I guess that means I can chip it 
The budget will only allow for an earlier one('99-'01) so that means it will have a few km's (80,000-120,000 km) on it. Are there any problem areas to look for? I understand the cdl was not installed on these but can be retrofitted to some relatively easily and others need the t-case pulling apart. How do I tell which one is the easy one? Oh yeah, anybody know of a good one for sale, prefer Melbourne but will look Interstate. Thanks for your help.
