3 pin wiring for M8000?

i found wiring diagram for 5 pin wiring in xd9000 etc but cant find wiring diagram for 3 pin M8000 for solinoid box! im told that the 5 pin controler fits the 3 pin box but it dont sound right, please if anyone can help with a wiring for the solinoid box and then the box to winch please help! thanks

3 pin and 5 pin all the same
all the 5 pin one dose is compleats the earth.
earths on red wire to switch then back down the brown one to the solanoids

My old HighMount was a three pin type. I bought the five as I was told it would fit and guess what it wouldn't

I returned the $149 controller lead and went to SuperSh!t and bought a trailer plug male and female and a length of five core trailer wire.....Opened the box and figure what was what. Disconnected the 3 pin on the control box and solder a length of wire to the female trailer plud and mounted that under the bonnet. The made a lead with return to centre switch to use a s a controller for the winch....

All up cost me $20 and an hour to wire up. Had I have thought about correctly I would have hard wired the switch into the car instead of the lead. Of course when you do this you ensure you isolate the power feed with a rocket type switch and install a light to advise that the power is on.

old one have a metal plug
new ones are plastic

so if u are replacing with new u will also have to replace the socket too
