Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have heard that they have different ratios. The petrols have longer gears than the diesels. Any truth to it.

i believe the diesel have a shorter first gear

Shorter as in lower?
I believed all the pre-93 4.2's were the same ratio's but did change after the 93 update.

4.2 Diesel, Petrol Gearboxes.
