STALL CONVERTER

anyone ever changed the stall converter in an auto 3 ltr NH pajero? pretty sure from the vehicles symptoms its the stall converter shagged. need to know how hard it is to replace.

any help would be appreciated!

Gearbox out, will pull traight off the input shaft, when replacing you have to make sure the two splines fit the converter & the two tangs for the pump line up.

If its the lockup clutch which has gone then it probably spat metal through the rest of it so I would check this as well.

best to replace the seal as well ,be carefull not to damage the seal when installing the torque conveter or you will be pullin the box back out n replacin the seal again
