If you don't want Air-Con or heating, then there is a lot of room in the dash once it is removed...

I have a soft top 73 Series so I got rid of it all...

Was thinking of putting DOOF DOOF in there, but not now that I know how i drive it...

What are you after, just some sort of draw setup for the rear...

I have to admit I was really surprised at just how much room is in the back of a middy once you pull the rear seat. May day weekend I fitted:

all my tent poles, 12' x 9' touring tent, groundsheet 24' x 12', tarp 24' x 12', 40litre engel, camp battery box, queen size inflatable bed & bedding, clothes for the missus and I , 2xgas cookers, 6' folding blow moulded table, recovery box, tools, 20l drinking water, car fluids, fording blind, shovel, bow saw, cane knife, chain saw, gps, laptop, pool toys, Bundy, mixer, & some other camping junk.

All of this fitted in below the rear window height!!!!

I think I can carry more in the middy than I can in the 4Runner & it's set up with drawers etc.

I have a SWB LC. I was tinkering with the idea of removing the back seat and putting in one or two of those storage boxes...the one you would fit in the back of a 4 door pickup.

have middy myself, no option on pulling seats out like mick_n_sal with kiddies to cram in too. this is Jake's storage in his middy. hope you don't mind buddy but gotta help fellow middy owners out

Seats are out at the moment, but I think they'll go back in, I have too much fun taking mates out fourbying...

I have no roof, I think a drawer setup for me is best, locking it with a lock, and or just by leaving the back doors locked...

Nice setup though...

best people to talk to would be the outback roller draw mob or a arb dealer
