I am thinking of having a go at the mud racing tommorrow.
i have a GQ petrol with 3.9 gears, and 36" TSL swampers. It has 5" lift.
What should I do to prepare it? Obviously I would need to do it in low range. Should I tarp the front?

if u tarp the front make sure ur cooling system is in working order
maybe setup a spray for the radiator
wd40 all the electricals ... and if u can make up a canvas cover for the dizzy would be good ... the usual
diff, tcase, gbox and fuel breather hoses are all connected and up high

get a 20l water container and a windscreen washer pump and some hose and rig up an extra washer for your windscreen. Otherwise you won't be able to see much at all. Spray the entire underneath of your car with CT18 (truckwash) or something similar so that the mud comes off easier when you get to clean it afterwards. Make sure your air intake is not going to suck in any water. Have fun!
