Hey guys...
Has anyone heard of a 110 wagon being chopped into a 4 door ute...that is - what has to be done to finish the rear end and how much would it approx cost?
I am thinking that my wagon would look better as a crew cab with a stub tray.
Any info greatly appreciated.
Micka.

It wouldnt be very hard, just get the roof and rear cab section off a 130 dual cab. Or a bit cheaper, you could use a series 2-3 tabletop lower cab section (modified for the rear wheels), series 2-3 ute rear window section (modified for seatbelt anchor points) and the rear part of a lightly rolled 110/130 single cab roof welded or rivited onto your existing 110 roof.
It would be easier to go for a well back 110 4 door ute, using the existing lower 1/4 pannels, a series 2/3 tailgate and hinges, 130 d/c roof and rear window section. i think you can buy these new in the uk.
Back in 1988 Landrover aus released a limited number of 110 dualcabs, most had v8s (but some had isuzu's) which were a cut up 110 wagon with a squared off back and a cut down rear door as a tailgate.
i prefer the UK version. i would love to do this to mine, however the wagon is a bit more practical for me.
Good luck
Andrew.

Yep, there's a 110 double cab available in the UK, it looks like this:
AFAIK most of the doublecab parts are the same as the 130 so shouldn't be to too hard to make one yourself.
The trayback shouldn't be too difficult either.
