Ok, just an idea floating around, I'm considering doing a 4 inch body lift on the GQ LWB., to get some awesome flexing action. These are the things I need answering!
1/ How much is this to do? (what things are involved)
2/ What changes will I notice, i.e driving on the road/off road
3/Who has done this
4Can someone put me in touch of someone who has done this mod!
Cheers all, again just an idea floating around, if I do it, pictures will be posted up, to show progress Cheers

1) how will a body lift affect flex?
2) 4in bodylift will put immence strain on the tin pissy stock mounts where the floor pan is.

Is that a body or a suspension. Just seems a bit high to be lifting body.

you need to be a bit more specefic, are you asking about a body lift, ie lifting the body above the chassis, or do you mean a suspension lift?
suspension lift will give more wheel travel (flex). a body lift wont, however a body lift will give you improved approach and departure angles, and will give more clearance for bigger tyres.

sorry, 4inch body lift means 4 inch of body blocks (rasing the body). talk to a few guys today, said its better just to chop guards, if anyone else has other ideas, post them up!

A body lift is not going to assist you with articulation 1 bit. You need to modify the suspension (shocks/springs) to get more articulation.
4inch body lift is way over the top.
