Flip arm... & rear diff arm lengths???

Right I have finally orderd the flip arm plates... anyone got any advice b4 I do this??

any prob's that i may come across..??

I also want to move my rear diff bac a bit...

It has 7-8" spring lift in the rear and i was wondering if anyone knew how much I have to lengthen the rear arms to get the wheels bac to where they should be???

Why lengthen them. If you do this your tyres will hit the rear quaters on up travel.
I'm actually in the process of putting longer arms on mine, going from 700mm to 1035mm & in the process moving the diff forward about 20mm. :lol:

I want to lengthen them cause they sit too far forward and it will make it betta on hill climbs n stuff...

U have the flip arm in ur bus dont u????

Hi cruisers
I lengthened my lower rear arms about 20mm (and made them out of hydraulic pipe....they now hit the exhaust on articulation. With bigger than 35 tyres, it would hit the rear of the wheel arch aswell, so whilst your idea is good, it doesnt really do you any favours when the going gets rough!

My 36's just touch the bumper at full artic' now.. was thinkin that i would do a body lift ad it would clear it then...
