Help with fitting aThor mainfold lathe and skill needed

I am currently working to fit a "Thor" mainfold to my 3.9.
Having the lower manifold machined at present to fit a thermostat and the temp sensors.
I can fit the 3.9 fuel rail if I can make a spacer to move the fuel pressure regulator back about 1CM. ( the 4.0 fuel rail is completely different with no fuel pressure reg. I reckon its easier to use the 3.9 one and 3.9 injectors. Of course as usual there is no record of the flow of the new injectors which are shorter "155 787" Bosch Green.
Does anyone on the forum have a hobby lathe and the skills to make an adaptor from brass . I have the dimensions on a drawing I can fax .
Basically its a copy of the nose of the regulator on one end, and the end of the fuel rail on the other, so it slots between. Its about 2CM long and has a groove for the o ring . It needs a good finish on the inside of end that the regulator slots into as it is sealed by an o ring..
Of course I will pay a good price!!
Please email me philip.armbruster@agric.nsw.gov.au
I will share my experience with anyone interested.
