SWB 70 Steering Reconditioning

Time to recondition my SWB 70''s steering. Can I use hilux parts, or prado?

Is it power steering?
Which parts need reconditioning?

Yes its power steering. I want to replace the rack/column and the box.
I was thinking of installing something like a late 90's Prado or Hilux steering.

what's wrong with the column? they are pretty bulletproof. the only column that fits is the 7x series. Hilux steer box will not fit without chassis modifications (why bother), probably same for prado. You can have it reconditioned by a specialist but it is spendy, a better option is to just replace the box with one from a wrecker, around $400.
what problems does your have now? leaks? slop?
