Dreama,
I'm no Yota expert, but I believe that you will need to move the spring perches to the top of the Cruiser axle (so it's not just a bolt in and go sort of thing (Thus rotating the housing to suit lift is not a huge issue)) and from memory??? the Cruiser axle is about 3" wider than the Lux. (1410mm vs 1486mm????)

dont for get that a hilux has the pumkin in the center where as the 60series diff is offset to the drivers side
you might have some drive shaft issues there

thanx for the input i have thought about the diffs needing to be sprung over it was just a matter of what height i want it to sit at i have been coming up with more issues every day there is still lots to think about before i go wasting money and have been advised to just run with the hilux gear but like the name says i will always be dreaming up little ideas like this

Why would you want 60 series diffs and axles? The fronts were scrapped for the 80 and they returned to using hilux diffs. They may be slightly stronger, but you would be better to go for a set of longfields and spacers!
I have seen a few hiluxs with 80 series rears but have not looked closly at them?
