1HZ vs. 1HD-T clutch

Hello guys Down Under,
I have a 4.0L turbo diesel (1HD-T) engine out of a 1992 Landcruiser that I bought without a flywheel. I also bought an H151 5 speed which is still on its way from overseas (I live in the US). My buddy in WA has also bought me a 1HZ flywheel. I already have a spare 1HZ clutch kit.
Would the 1HZ clutch disc fit the input shaft of the 1HD-T transmission? Would the 1HZ flywheel work with the turbo diesel?
I was told the clutch disc is smaller (10 inch vs 12 inch). I don't really mind running the smaller clutch as in North America we don't get the turbo diesel

I would think if all the parts are there and together then just run it, you can get the 10" clutch upgraded to a heavy duty version, but there must be hundreds of these getting around with turbos on. My housemate turbo'ed his 1HZ and still runs stock clutch and gearbox, 50,000 or more kilometres he put on it in a year
he doesnt pay for fuel and cuts a lot of laps

Hi Rob,
My question is whether the 1HZ clutch disc, which is available here, can fit a tranny meant for the 1HD-T.

basically are the splines the same?
if they are not then im sure a new centre could be put into it.
You got a 1hd-t, how come it had no flywheel or clutch? ???
im pretty sure (off memory) that they are all the fine spline clutch, same splines as 3Bs from the 1980s, as opposed to the coarse spline of the petrol and diesel 6's of that era.

I found out from another board the 1HD-T has 14 splines on a 33 mm OD shaft, the 1HZ has 21 splines on a 30 mm OD shaft. So I'm just posting the answer here for everyone else.
I'm not sure why the engine has no flywheel or tranny. I have a feeling it was swapped for a 1HDFT that came from an automatic rig.
Putting the appropriate center piece in a US shop is probably next to impossible since the H151 was never sold here, so the shops don't have the correct piece. Yeah, we get Dana 60's but we have no H151's :(

your gearbox is from a 1hz right? so is the flywheel? pressure plate? clutch? i dont see why it wouldnt bolt together, if you gearbox is from behind the 1hdt, then your in trouble :(

This is not the same 1HZ rig, this is a different one
This is for a 1HD-T engine and an H151 tranny from a different HDJ80.
Just for purposes of a conversation though, a couple of guys in the US have mated an H55 with the 1HD-T using the 1HZ bellhousing. They did have to have custom clutch discs made to get a 12" disc to fit the H55 input shaft. One is running well being used a daily driver, the other has never run under its own power AFAIK.
