Anyone know of a site where there is a step by step DIY welding a front diff thing. Mainly just after a "How to do".
Cheers.

the search is a bit of a dog - you have to make sure you pick relevant terms, and you have to make sure you check the "Search for ALL terms" button - if not, any post that has any one of your search terms will be returned.
as an example, try searching for the terms
diff centre welding gears
first search for "any terms" - about 10,000 matches. no good.
then search for "all terms" - 9 matches - very good (some I hadn't posted before)
cheers

just thought i would add my (young dumb) attempt/learning was when i was working at welding shop, i had an old 3.5l v3 rover.. from memory it had a banjo type, so pulled axels and took center into work, where i layed about 1kg out of a 3phase mig. just filled the 4 corners between side and plantery gears, reassembly was a shocker, and when i got it moving, i soon relised that the side gears had cocked abit, and jamming it all up 90deg of rotation, so,, new diff ,, hmm, but i have a yn67 88" lux now, and welding the front is my next step, cause you can unlock it,
